TRAINING PROGRAM
The necessary working skills to perform your tasks at an excellent level
We aim to give learners a greater understanding of knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Self-Awareness, and the importance of Wellbeing and Stress Management as an individual and as a team. Help them get their foundations solid so they have strong roots so when the wind picks up they are securely anchored.
The level of training each individual will depend on a number of factors such as the duration that they are in training (min three day), whether the premises is open to the public or not, whether they are expected to work on shift, their level of English, confidence and their previous experience.

Housekeeping Skills

Housekeeping Skills can range from customer service to being detail-oriented, and they may vary based on a housekeeper’s specific duties, such as dusting, vacuuming and servicing the room for stay over or departure.

Food and Beverage Service Skills

Develop food service and customer care skills for a variety of related front-of-house roles. Explore topics such as serving and clearing breakfast, lunch and dinner, present menus and taking orders.

Manual Handling

Lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying are just some of the many tasks that are classed as “manual handling”. Understanding what is involved in your tasks, the risks, and the possible ramifications if handled incorrectly can help you reduce risks of injury at work.

Food Safety L1

Develop a strong foundational knowledge of food hygiene practices and food safety law, and show that you strive to follow best practice and are proud to do so.

Irish Culture

Discover the Irish vibrant and lively folk lifestyle and the Irish pubs which serve as a focal point for many small villages and urban neighbourhoods, a place where the great Irish passion for a conversation, stories and jokes can be indulged.

Basic English for Hospitality

We’ll give you confidence you may encounter in everyday hospitality industry situations. We teach you how to describe different foods and beverages, work effectively in an English-speaking kitchen or deal with client complaints.
MOBILITY
We’ll take your hand right from your arrival
TrainedIn will meet all learners at the airport and bring them to the Hospitality Training Academy. TrainedIn will conduct an orientation day for all new arrivals and welcome them. It is very important to ensure everyone is being well looked after, they have travelled long distances, some for the first time and alone. Being in a new environment with little or no English, potentially not know another person, being away from families, friends, and support structure, can be a very intimidating, lonely and stressful space.
In order for learners to feel safe, secure and motivated they will need to be looked after, supported and integrated into the culture of the new employer’s business not just during training. Learners will be given the opportunity to stay connected with friends they have made during training.
Employers are asked to come and welcome learners on day one and have one on one time and to return to pick them up on completion of training.
