Byte Sized Upskilling Workshops

Assessing the toll of Leadership

A workshop designed to understand how leadership has an important role to play in risk assessment and why it is a central core activity for managing health and safety in the workplace.

Webinar Description

What Is the Goal of Risk assessing the Toll of Leadership?

The goal of any risk management system is to identify potential problems before they occur and have a plan for addressing them. Having a risk management plan is easier and more cost-effective than to address a sudden crisis or situation that has gone out of control.

In this course, participants will apply the principles of a risk assessment to their own lives and see where the risks are (ie stress points) and where they can build resilience to combat these risks.

In 2019, our founder, Sorcha Finucane, conceptualised the idea of TrainedIn. It’s mission? To make researching and booking training courses so much easier.

As TrainedIn was being built, Sorcha realised that she could use the technology to help with another subject she felt passionately about: enhancing sustainability for small businesses and freelancers.

TrainedIn launched in April 2020. Yes, right at the start of the Covid-19 lockdown. (The first one…!) Throughout the year, TrainedIn has been running free webinars to connect freelancers and small training businesses to potential clients. Our promise is always to match highly skilled professionals with the individuals and businesses looking for their services.

Mary Finn

Through Connect4Work, Mary works closely with organizations to rethink how they view and manage absenteeism. Mary wants to flip the more traditional approach to absence management upside down and transform it into an opportunity for organizations to engage with staff in a very different and more positive way.

When working with these organizations, reasonable accommodations are explored – regular updates are provided through progress reports keeping everybody informed and confidence grows to support valued employees return to work. Even in situations where neither employer nor employee can see a pathway back to work, our goal is to lay that first steppingstone and focus on the positive outcome of a safe, timely and sustainable return to work.
